About Emily

Emily Sarah Smitheram is from Falmouth, Cornwall. In 2019, she graduated with a BA in Contemporary Jewellery Design at UCA Rochester. Within her degree Emily explored the intersections between material and virtual spaces with jewellery objects and video collage.

In 2020, Emily continued her artist practice from her studio in Krowji, Redruth.

Since 2021, Emily has been studying a MA in Art Education, Culture and Practice at the Institute of Education, UCL. Her current research focus is understanding how video and objects can combine to create learning experiences with a special interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital imagery.
